Town Day

Yesterday was Town Day where the center of our town is closed off for a mini carnival and vendors/town merchants give away/sell their wares. First stop, face painting! Hannah had a girl on each side drawing butterflies.

Emme's first time getting her face painted. As Joe and I were chatting, the girl called me over to ask if Emme was O.K. Poor thing was a little nervous and just sat there with tears in her eyes as the girl was drawing. We quickly turned the almost butterfly into a flower and called it a day which Emme then wiped away after a minute. Oh well!

We ran into some of our friends there and rides soon followed.

Katie was the brave mom who ventured the ride with the girls (I was nauseous and dizzy just watching them).

During! They loved it.
