Mother's Day

We had such a nice Mother's Day yesterday. The girls and Joe outdid themselves to make my day extra special! It started with breakfast and presents in bed, followed by a run, and then some gardening while Joe took the girls to the grocery store (for dinner) and Home Depot (when doesn't he need to go to Home Depot?).

For dinner they made lobsters with corn on the cob....delicious!

Joe and Hannah picked out one of the biggest lobsters for me in honor of Mother's Day (an excessive 2 3/4 lbs)...Here is one of the claws (I share).

The girls with their new bike helmets! Hannah had been wearing her ski helmet as a bike helmet and while it protected her head, it also made her very hot. And Emme's helmet is new to her, a hand me down from Hannah, that she was so excited to get. She has been wearing it pretty much ever since, even to go pick up Hannah from school today!

Such a great day. I wish Mother's Day were every Sunday!!!
