A lost tooth!

Hannah's bottom tooth has been loose for months, for so long that we just forgot about it. And then the other day she said, "mommy, feel how wiggly my tooth is" and that tooth was finally super loose. As she sat watching t.v. the other day, she kept working on it and once I saw that there was a little blood, I knew it was time. She was so excited!!! The trick to her getting it out...going into the bathroom and watching herself pull it out in the mirror. Voila

So so happy!! It was only later that night at bedtime after the tooth was safely under her pillow awaiting the tooth fairy that I heard her crying. Turns out, she does not want to part with her tooth because it is so cute! I told her to just keep it out from under her pillow until she was ready to part with it.

The next day, with the help of her babysitter, here is what I came home to...

Oh that child is so funny! She wants the money and her tooth too!
