Wild Animal Park

Tuesday was spent at the Wild Animal Park in Escondido. Another beautiful day...

First stop...the carousel. Gramps helped Hannah on.

And then he helped Gramma on...
Daddy tried to help Emme on, but she was not having it.

We opted instead for a nest...she didn't really care for this either and actually neither did I as the nest spun a little (or a lot if you have a husband that likes to see the color drain from his wife's face).

Next stop...elephant feeding time. It was really cool to see the elephants come out.

And then onto Lorakeet Landing where you can feed the birds. The birds will land right on you to drink the nectar from your hand. Emme as usual was very pensive about the whole experience.

Hannah loved it and was only slightly nervous about it.

One of the birds landed right on her head!

African Safari time to see all of the animals.

Group picture.

The girls playing during the ride.

What it would feel like to be a bird in a nest.

Last stop...the carousel for Mommy and Hannah.
Such a ham!

Such a fun day! The girls loved seeing all of the different animals. Hannah's favorite was the rhinocerous while Emme really liked the elephants.
