Easter

Easter activities started Friday with egg dying. Hannah showing me her pretty pink egg!

This was Emme's first year of dying the eggs (she still needed a lot of help from Mommy).

All done with our eggs! They turned out great.

The Easter Bunny came!

Emme was so excited to open each egg and see a piece of candy. "Yay!"

After a breakfast of hard boiled eggs and paska (a Slovak bread Hannah and I made the day before), each of us got to have 1 treat out of our basket. Emme chose her chocolate bunny (well part of it) and started eating it from the center.

Hannah chose a caramel egg and proceeded to get all of the gooey caramel out with her fingers before eating the egg. A sticky, gooey mess!

Then it was on to Auntie Cheri's house for an Easter egg hunt followed by a huge meal! The Easter egg hunt was serious business, a treasure hunt for each child around the entire house indoor and out. Each child had different clues and different eggs to find.

Hannah thought it was so much fun!!

Emme and Caroline (who is also 2) got to find their eggs all around the grass!

Emme and Addie!

Hannah stayed busy playing outside all day!! She only came in to eat lunch (a little) and dessert (a lot). Here she is pushing Jackson on the tractor! Wait...shouldn't it be the other way around?

Happy Easter!
