Construction - Week 16

Here we are...still under construction...slowly moving along. The outside is now "finished" and they are supposed to move inside this week or next to start insulation and drywall. When I say finished, I mean all but painted. And what better way to save money on a remodel than to paint the house yourself? And here's our happy painter himself!

Here's the usual angle of picture but we now have room for our cars so they are kind of in the way. But you can see how close we'll be to our back door! Before we had to park here and walk all the way to the front of the house to get in. Can you imagine? : )
No changes to the inside. I finally picked out carpet for the family room, bought the tile for mudroom, kitchen, and bathroom, and bought all of the lighting fixtures. Now onto choosing paint colors.
