Week at Camp

We headed to Joe's Aunt and Uncle's camp in Maine for 4th of July weekend for a lobster cookout, fireworks, and fun. It is just a 2 hour drive but it felt like we were worlds away (exactly what I wanted).

Camp is like one big playground for people of all ages. Pontoon boat for fishing, speed boat for skiing, knee boarding, etc., paddle boat, toys, toys and more sand toys for the little ones, a swing, a canoe, a hammock...Hannah had so much fun playing in the sand and water.

A few pictures from our lobster cookout.

She was a huge fan of mussels and didn't really like the lobster, but tried taking a bite out of it (shell and all).

Hannah stayed up late for s'mores and fireworks. As you could imagine, she liked the s'mores better!

After the festivities, Hannah and I stayed at camp for the week while Joe headed back to reality until the next weekend. His cousin, Debbie, and her family came during the week and so more lobster, s'mores, and fun. It was great seeing everyone and spending time together.

It was so cute. Joe took Hannah, Bella, and Addie out for a paddle boat ride one morning. The girls loved it and the moms loved it for some quiet time.
