This weekend we went to Deb's parent's house in Freedom, NH on Lake Ossippee. Another playground! The weather turned out beautifully (even though the weather man called for rain as Ben kept pointing out) and we had such a great time!
Hannah just loves the water and once she saw it, she wanted in!! We got there Saturday around 515p and by 530p, she had her bathing suit on and was in the water!

First thing Sunday morning, we went out on the boat for a couple of hours of wake boarding. Hannah did great.

She'd much rather be in the water than on a boat, but she did really well (especially since I forgot to bring her water and a snack). The only time she screamed was when Ben fell wake boarding. We had to have Ben wave to her from the water so that she knew he was alright. Hannah just loves Ben (who's 9) and he is so great with her. She followed him around all weekend. This was Ben's first Summer wake boarding and he did great!!!

After Ben and then Deb demonstrating I was ready to have a go at wake boarding. They said it is just like snow boarding, but in the water. Hmmm....I can do that! Well, it's definitely not as easy as they make it look. After 1 round and just barely getting up for a few seconds and mostly a lot of face plants in the water, I took a break. After Kevin, Stan (Deb's Dad), and Ben demonstrated some more, I tried again and finally got up for a length of time. I even went out of the wake, which is I think the purpose of wake boarding (hence the name) but I was definitely more comfortable right behind the boat.

While I was out in the water, Hannah graciously wore my sunglasses for me. The next Paris Hilton? (not if I have anything to say about it and oh yeah, she's definitely not an heiress)

Hannah on the "waverunner". She had taken quite a spill earlier on it, but finally got the courage to try it again .
