Museum of Science with Nana and Papa
This week Nana and Papa came for a short visit. We headed out to the Museum of Science while they were here for some exploring fun! A lot of my pictures were fuzzy, but here's what I did get from our day.
We stopped at the Discovery Center first (which is geared towards their age range) and checked out real skeleton bones. Hannah got to explore a human skeleton and then also an ostrich skeleton to see the differences and similarities. Emme's holding the ostrich's skull.
I thought this was cute...Hannah's trying to get Emme's head towards the camera.Hannah in the frog habitat for a close up look.
Emme, the bee, and honeycomb.
They have items to dress up like a bee, but our girls opted for just a climb into the honeycomb.
Papa working hard at balancing while the girls look on.
In the Lost Egypt exhibit, they had a real mummy which fascinated Hannah. Emme just kept saying "the mommy died"...no matter how hard I tried to explain, it was hard for a 3 yr old to understand. No mommies died in this exhibit. Camel picture op.
Hannah trying to "hug" the t-rex
Most of the exhibits had audio text available and this was Emme's favorite part. She would go around picking up the phones, pressing the buttons, and listening to all sorts of things. All of which went completely over her head, but it didn't matter, she was happy to be on the phone.
Hannah in a chair
Did Hannah shrink or the chair get bigger???

Hannah' fish "HAM" in the aquarium.
