Trip to CA - part 1

We just got back from spending a fun-filled 2 weeks in sunny California!  And have the pictures to prove it!  3 posts as there are a lot of pictures!

For the first part of our trip, our family of 4 spent a few days in Solana Beach enjoying the sunshine, the beach, and seeing friends.
After a 6 hr morning direct flight form Boston to LAX with constant t.v. watching, Emme fell asleep on Joe's shoulder while waiting for our luggage (while holding a lollipop even).

First stop...In and Out.  As good as we remember!

 2nd stop...hotel pool!  Our room was right off of the pool which made a short trip to the pool before dinner a perfect idea!

 We had a dinner date with Joe's old boss Marc Rosen at the Beach House in Cardiff by the Sea.  A perfect place for dinner right on the water, outside seating!

While the adults finished our meal, the girls played on the rocks next to our table.

 After a sushi dinner on the beach with our friends, we headed to the playground for some fun at Fletcher Cove Park.  Hannah on the swings.

Next up...family time with Gramma and Gramps, Uncle Rob, Aunt Danielle, Tyler, Alyssa, and Ryan!
