Hannah's first day of 1st grade

Wednesday, September 5th was Hannah's first day of school.

 

Here is the big 1st grader all ready for school and full of smiles!

 

 Hannah and Emme.  Emme seemed just as excited.  It was a half day and each child was allowed to bring a stuffed animal from home.  Hannah chose Starlite (her new unicorn dreamlite from Nana and Papa).

 New shoes (which she picked out by herself)

 New backpack (again that she picked out by herself)

 Hooray for school!  Note: there had to be a shoe change due to inclement weather (but not to worry, the new ballet flats are in her backpack to change into at school)

 Ready to walk to school.

 And again, due to the inclement weather, drop off was in the cafeteria and completely chaotic.  Hannah is in her class line waiting for her teacher. 

 

And there you go...we now have a 1st grader.
