We have a COURT DATE!!

We found out this morning that our court date will be Monday, May 15th. We’ve also realized that there are great people working behind the scenes for us that make things happen. We don’t always get much warning (i.e. we found out yesterday morning that our interview was in the afternoon), but everything gets done. We have no control here but are finding that we are WELL taken care of. We also went to the notary today to get a few documents notarized.

Aside from business, Hannah was a cranky, cranky girl today. She wasn’t much for playing this morning at all. We went pretty much straight to cuddling and of course, sucking on my hair. So much for blow-drying my hair. For whatever reason, her favorite thing to suck (with her thumb too) is my hair. Second, is one of our shirts and third, maybe a toy. She finally took a little power nap with Joe and then got a little playing time in before our visit was over.

Because of the notary, we were late getting there this afternoon, but she was in a good mood again (for the most part). We got there just in time for her snack. Formula (at least we think that is what it is) and bananas (for her first time, we think). They don’t usually get anything fed by spoon but Joe tried it. Turns out, Hannah Banana doesn’t like bananas so much. Her face was super funny. The other 2 girls from her room being adopted didn’t fair any better with the bananas. I think she’ll come around eventually.
