Hannah's 8 month birthday bash

Hannah is 8 months old today! We brought her a present, yet another toy to play with! It plays nursery rhymes. Not sure she knew what to think of it. And we can’t remember half of the words to the songs anyway.

We realized today that we have created a monster! When we got to the hallway outside Hannah’s room today, we heard a baby crying (very loudly!). And there was our girl when we walked in screaming for food! Just in general, she gets more cranky and vocal about what she wants. It’s a good sign but considering we have to leave her here for 2 ½ weeks after our court date, she’s going to be hell for the caregivers in her room. We decided that is why you give the caregivers presents…to soften them up a little.

Miss Hannah also has a few mosquito bites (at least that is what we think they are) on her face! They’ve been there for the last few days, but today they were swollen and looked really itchy. And she kept scratching at one on her ear. Poor thing. Other than that, she was in great spirits today! But always gets tired towards the end of our visits!
We are getting very homesick here! Although we love spending time with Hannah and have great accommodations, we just miss home! And our “kids”!
