Cookie decorating

In honor of Valentine's Day and our "date" with Junie, our next door neighbor who has invited us over for dinner tomorrow (Joe is out of town), the girls and I made cookies. Well, I did the making and the girls did the decorating.

Emme hard at work decorating her masterpieces. As she currently has a cold, all of her cookies were quarantined from the other cookies for her to eat throughout the next week, but shh...don't tell her that, she was so proud to tell June on the phone that she made one just for her!

Hannah hamming it up for the camera with her creations. She is not sick and follows a strict no licking fingers policy and therefore, her cookies are safe to eat.

And the best part?? Licking the icing off of the spreaders at the end.
And since we had plenty to go around...I made Valentine goody bags for Hannah's teachers and our other neighbor, Jan.
And now...Daddy's pre-purchased cards/presents were found and put on the breakfast table to surprise the girls (and Mommy) in the morning! Happy Valentine's Day!
