This past weekend, we went on our first ski trip of the season. We rented a house in Newbury, NH with our friends Kathryn and Matt.
We arrived Friday night, settled in, and Saturday morning were ready to go have a fun day of skiing.
Emme lounging around while we all got ready (not sure why it is sideways?).

Silly kids! Hannah's all ready with her helmet and goggles, but somehow forgot her snowpants??

With all of the kids dropped off in ski school (Thomas, Sophie, and Hannah) or daycare (Maddie and Emme), the grown ups were left to have some fun. Kathryn and I went off for an hour lesson while Matt and Joe went skiing/snowboarding.

The grown ups met up for lunch and then ventured out all together. Kathryn and Matt in line for the chair lift.

Joe and I.

Kathryn trying to give Joe a thumbs up as requested without losing her balance and/or starting to go downhill. Matt lounging behind her.

While I took a break too.

At the end of the ski school day, Joe took Hannah up on the chair lift.

Thomas and Matt.

Joe and Hannah and Thomas and Matt caught up with one another for a ride down together.

Hannah on her way down!

The kids goofing around while waiting for the Daddies to get the car.

Back at the house, dress up!

The house had a bear foot stool that Emme just loved!!!!

On Sunday, Joe, Hannah, Matt, and Thomas went for a half day of skiing while Kathryn and I entertained the littler ones and cleaned the house/packed the cars so that we got home in time for the Super Bowl.
Home and watching the game, Emme self-censored some of the commercials when Joe got up and wasn't able to cover her eyes during some of the scary commercials.

Hannah really wanted to stay awake for the game!! We were letting her stay up until after the half-time show, but she just couldn't make it. The first thing she asked when she woke up in the morning? Did the Patriots win? : (

We're all very excited and looking forward to our next ski adventure later this month!
