Father's Day

Father's Day was fairly uneventful this year as Joe has been sick with a strange dizzy/stomach flu thing since Thursday. The stomach flu part only lasted a day or two, but the dizziness/vertigo has really stuck with him. So as he is recovering, we took it easy and had a low key celebration at home.

In the morning, after presents, Hannah and I made buttermilk pancakes for breakfast. Yummy!

And then at some point, we decided to try to take a few pictures of Daddy and his girls. Emme wasn't exactly happy about it.
OK, she settled down a bit. But good luck trying to get a smile out of her.
Later in the day, we tried again. Not sure what the girls are doing here, but I thought they looked sweet.
Watching golf. Emme seemed to like it too! And Hannah looks pretty annoyed with me taking another picture.

Hannah and I baked a cake for Daddy too! Lemon poppy seed which we thoroughly enjoyed after having a "pizza picnic" in the family room. Such simple things to make everyone happy!
