Mother's Day

We started our Mother's Day celebration with dinner at Mr. Sushi and dessert at TCBY on Saturday night. So yummy.

We ordered the sashimi deluxe special which is chef's choice of sashimi. On the menu, octopus. Hannah tried it and liked it. Salmon...not so much. She mostly stuck with the tempura, edamame, miso soup, and rice.

Today, the day started out with Emme awake at 5am for the day, as usual, but my loving husband took the early shift and kept her occupied until I had to get up to nurse her. He then made chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast. It was a nice lazy day where I actually got to nap! So wonderful! And then Joe grilled scallops and shrimp for dinner. Such a wonderful Mother's Day with my girls!
