Cape Cod

On Tuesday, after our morning in Newport, we drove to Cape Cod. Although we were staying in Provincetown (at the very tip), we stopped for lunch and beach-time in East Falmouth. While the sun was out and the water was nice, the breeze was cool so we didn't stay too long.We stayed in Provincetown at a great bed and breakfast right in the heart of the town. After checking in, we walked around the town and ate lobster for dinner at the Lobster Pot. Yummy.
More ice cream and then bed...

On Wednesday, we climbed up the Pilgrim Monument in town.

We got very nervous as Hannah was whining on the way to the monument (and we forgot to bring the carrier), but luckily once we got into the monument, she was very excited to go up. The monument had 116 stairs and 60 ramps to get to the top and she did both ways by herself. And showed no fear of heights whatsoever at the top.
Going down.

On the drive home, we stopped at the National Seashore for some more beach time. Hannah loves the water and the waves. The water was cold though!
So we opted for kite flying instead. Hannah loved flying her new kite with Daddy. It was in the shape of a parrot and even flapped it's wings when flying...
