Family Day

Yesterday was the 2 year anniversary of adopting Hannah hence our "family day"! We started out the day with a few gifts for our little peanut. A book and more importantly (to her at the time anyway) was a sand and water table.

She literally played with the table for an hour while Daddy and Mommy read the paper.

After a yummy breakfast made by Daddy, we watched our adoption video (an annual tradition).

Then onto the Dragon Boat Festival in Cambridge along the Charles River.

We ate lunch there and tried some different types of snacks we hadn't seen before. It was something wrapped in a banana leaf and Joe thought it strange when they gave him a packet of sugar to eat with it, but apparently that was to give it taste... (Hannah liked it nonetheless).

We came home after and played more outside with the sand and water table (after a short nap). Notice how the once 1/2 table of sand and 1/2 table of water is 2 sides of sandy water. Nice! Already well loved!
After dinner, enjoying our cake. It was delicious!
