Halloween

Halloween day started out with the kindergartners parading around the elementary school in their costumes.

Hannah was excited to go to school in her beautiful dress! We got this traditional Kazhk dress over 5 years ago when we were in Kazahkstan adopting Hannah. She deemed herself a Kazahk princess!

The parade concluded in the cafeteria where parents were allowed to wait to see the parade. Lucky for me, I am the room parent and so I got to go along with the parade to help open doors for the classes. Nana got to go along as well while the other room parent watched Emme in the cafeteria. The entire class with Ms. Pellegrine (the sun in honor of the "sunshine class") and Mrs. Azzone (a rain cloud).

Finally time for trick or treating. The girls ready to go in their costumes.
Quack quack
Our Kazahk princess!

Trick or treating at Junie's next door.
Nana and Daddy took the girls trick or treating! They had a lot of fun. Emme's pumpkin was so heavy that she wasn't even able to carry it towards the end! And as seems to be the tradition, everything gets dumped on the dining room table at the end of the night. After each choosing a candy to eat and a good teeth brushing...it is time for bed!

Happy Halloween!
