Drumlin Farm

Last Wednesday we headed out to Drumlin Farm for a picnic lunch and to see some of the animals.

Joe and Emme eating lunch.

Hannah hanging out with the sheep. She was trying to get them to baaa...some did.

While in the goat/sheep barn, there was a chicken that came to visit.

2 hours before we arrived, a new calf was born. We were lucky because when we were watching the mama, the calf got up and started walking around. Hannah was impressed the calf could walk within hours of being born. The mama was very protective of her baby.

In the pony/cow barn, Hannah rode a "pony".

It was a super hot day, temps reaching the 90s, so after Drumlin we went to Kimball Farm....ice cream!

Emme was very into the ice cream, but then quickly reached her limit and wanted nothing to do with it. We did find out that ice cream makes a great hair product!

Hannah, on the other hand, enjoys every last drop of her ice cream!

Do you think Hannah has a sugar high?

We ended the day with a bbq back at our house....it really feels like Summer now!
