Happy Birthday Emme!

Yesterday was Emme's 1st birthday! What a year it has been! The first year is always so amazing watching them grow, learn, discover,...and it just continues!

We'll have a small birthday party for Emme on Saturday, but to celebrate the day itself we went to Rain Forest Cafe for dinner.

Emme and Mommy. While she wasn't crying, the restaurant was a bit much for her. A lot of stimulus. She clutched onto one of her "lubbies" for dear life. When dinner finally came, she let go only when it was replaced with food.

Singing Happy Birthday. She was amazed by the candle and a lot less freaked out by all the singing than I thought she would be.
