Sunday River, Maine

Our first ski trip of the season....we went to Sunday River in Maine.

Here's Joe and I after dropping Hannah off at ski school and Emme at all day daycare...

First day...red team. Hannah took 2 days of ski school. Her teachers said she did great and had a great attitude! She had so much fun!! She even rode the chair lift at the end of her 2nd day.

Unfortunately on my 2nd run I took a hard fall and hurt my wrist! Lucky for me, Joe was right there to help me and my friend Meredith was able to send ski patrol to help us out. Zach getting me ready for my ride down the mountain.

As it turned out, my wrist was broken so we spent the rest of the day in the mountain clinic, ER, and surgery rather than on the slopes. : (

The next day Joe and John took the older girls back to ski school and got a chance to go skiing. Joe was kind enough to take a few pictures for me of the view!

Our weekend didn't exactly turn out as planned considering my wrist and Emme getting the stomach flu in the middle of the night, but we made the most of it! and have some funny stories to tell!
