Week at Camp
We've been home now for a week from our vacation and I am finally getting around to a few posts of our trip...very delinquent I know.
We spent the first week at Camp in Maine. The weather was absolutely beautiful! Once again, we made it to the Acton Fair, which is super close to camp. Hannah liked seeing the animals and riding a few rides.
While in Maine, we made a few side trips. Our first trip was to Storyland in New Hampshire, an amusement park geared mostly towards the under 6 crowd. Hannah was tall enough to ride on ALL of the rides (with Daddy of course). We have one brave little girl; she rode both the log ride and roller coaster with Joe! She was a bit skeptical of the log ride after the drop, but by the time she got to me, she had nothing but great things to say and said it was her favorite ride. We had a great time!
Our second side trip was to Old Orchard Beach in Maine. Hannah had a lot of fun playing in the water and sand. After the beach, we stopped for ice cream on the way home, a yummy mess.
And camp wouldn't be camp without all of the swimming, tubing (Hannah's 1st time trying it with Joe...so brave), fishing (Hannah caught her first fish), playing games, s'mores...
