Day trip to Connecticut
Yesterday, we took a road trip to Darien, CT to visit Joe's cousins. It was a 3 hr drive (and a nice trial run before our 9 hr road trip to VA in a few weeks). Hannah did great in the car and entertained herself quite well. Joe's cousin, Anne and daughter Kira (Anne just adopted Kira from Kazakhstan a few months ago), were visiting from Utah.
It was such a beautiful day and we spent all afternoon at Jane's house enjoying the sunshine. Here's Hannah playing baseball with Joe and Justin (Justin is pitching therefore not in the picture).
After naps, we went to New Canaan (which very much reminded Joe and I of La Jolla minus the beach) to walk around and eat dinner before driving home. Joe and cousins Anne and Jane with all of the kids.

thank you SOOOO much for making the drive down to see us, I really loved seeing you guys again and meeting Hannah, its great that these two girls have so much in common - I hope that was the first of many visits!!
