Our first day outside at the farm of the year. After raining in the morning, the sun was out and it was beautiful. Joe was cutting back the fruit trees while Hannah's job was to move the branches that fell to a pile.

Hannah taking a break from her duties to climb the small ladder (with Mommy's supervision, of course).

After finishing with the cutting, we all carried the branches far back behind the barn. Hannah insisted on carrying what was one of the heaviest branches. She got about 3/4 of the way when she finally admitted it was heavy and asked for help (boy is she stubborn!).

After dropping off the branches, Joe showed Hannah where the beavers were eating away at one of the trees.

The day wasn't without a bit of drama as we were there to witness one of Grandpa's anxiety attacks. While we knew he had them, we'd never seen one. It was a very stressful situation on both Joe and myself whereas Thelma (who is very used to them) went about her business as if all was normal. Once things died down (thanks to his anxiety medication), we ate lunch. Hannah and Thelma then went for a walk to get some pussy willows for us to take home.
