Gramma and Gramps arrive

Gramma and Gramps arrived bright and early yesterday morning for a weeklong+ visit! We were all very excited to see each other. And we wasted no time in starting the fun....

Duck tours. Hannah and I had been before (Hannah with her Nana and Papa, me with work years ago), but for the rest of us, it was their first time. It was so much fun! Our driver made the whole thing very entertaining. And if it wasn't for the 90+ degree heat, it would have been perfect!

Quack Quack. We had bought Hannah a quacker whistle and of course, Emme wanted her own too! Emme figured out how to blow, but never managed to blow hard enough to get it to quack and then there was so much drool that it stopped working altogether for a while.
Gramma and Emme.

Hannah showing off her beautiful necklace that her and Gramps bought and then subsequently made from the Museum Shop at the Museum of Science. Can you say spoiled?

When the duck tour goes into the water, all of the kids get a chance to drive the boat and chat with our tour guide. Hannah was excited because she was the first one (and she remembered doing this when she went with her Nana and Papa).

After the tour and another impromptu tour of Boston (we took a wrong turn trying to get to dinner), we went to dinner at the Barking Crab.

Emme being silly with Daddy's sunglasses.

Cannolis for dessert. Emme's first taste. Yummy!

And then Hannah...not her first cannoli as evidenced by the enormous bite she is taking!

We had such a terrific day! So much fun and it's hard to believe they just got here yesterday. Off to Portsmouth, NH and then camp today for Hannah's birthday weekend!!!
