Almost Halloween

OK, so today is actually Halloween, but the pictures are from the days leading up to it....and getting in the spirit.

Our carved pumpkin! Hannah picks out the face (from Mommy's very small repertoire) and cleans out all of the seeds and then Mommy carves it.

Yesterday was orange day at Hannah's school and I was the parent helper (along with my trustee little companion, Emme) so we were all decked out in orange for Halloween. I made the kids "monster" rice crispy treats (rice crispy treats decorated with frosting to look like Frankenstein) which were a huge hit and then there was a party with face painting, bobbing for apples (the H1N1 version so as not to share germs), pumpkin decorating, and games. We all had a great time! And now tonight....TRICK OR TREATING!!! Hannah is very excited.
