Emme meets Hannah
After Emme was checked out by the doctor, she was ready for show and tell. Since she was a week early, my mom (Nana) hadn't arrived yet to watch Hannah. Of course we had a backup plan (is anyone surprised) and Kerry was able to watch Hannah for the night of the delivery. Much appreciated and great for Hannah since this is the mom of her best friend Kai.
Then Nana had to be rushed down to Cambridge by cousin Cheryl for her three week stint at the house to help out. All this was taken care of by noon and I took everyone to the hospital then.
Hannah was just thrilled to meet her little sister. She was really cute and loving. She is really nurturing and cautious with Emme and even lectured me when I played trot, trot to Boston with Emme and Hannah felt I dipped her a bit much.
It was great that Nana was able to make this and meet Emme. It will be great to have her here for a few weeks to help out.
And thanks again to cousin Cheryl and Owen for driving down Nana at such a last minute.
Here are a few other pictures of Emme as I escorted her through the medical check.

Hi Joe, Suzie and Hannah,
Some Dutch to practice ;-)
hartelijk gefeliciteerd met de geboorte van jullie dochter en zusje Emme.
It is great to read that you have given birth to a wonderful daughter. Justin has just told me about it (must have been a while since I read your blog). I hope everything is fine with Suzie and Emme. Also Hannah must be delighted to have a baby sister.
I wish you all a wunderfull time and a happy stay on the pink cloud for a couple of weeks.
